The purpose of this site is to help mainstream American journalists, editors, news organizations and media professionals identify and educate themselves on topics that are of significance to the Arab American community. We regularly poll journalist members of the National Arab American Journalists Association to determine the top five (5) topics of issues in the Arab American community that they feel the mainstream American media is missing. To support this list, we have also created Resource sub-pages to help in providing background information on the five (5) priority topics. As topics and issues move up the priority list, we will archive past topics and issues. We hope to build resource pages that provide links to backgrounds on each of these important topics. Top five (5) topics that the mainstream American media is not covering in the Arab American community: 1 - War Related Contract Prosecutions show more than 36 people convicted of corruption, many affiliated with Halliburton. But in one case, the government is seeking to prevent Hallibutorn and its "former" CEO Dick Cheney, now vice president, from being implicated in the alleged fraud.
